Gordons expands commercial contracts team
Law firm Gordons has expanded its commercial contracts team to seven specialists, following two new hires and a 32 per cent revenue increase over the past three years.
Lawyer Will Powell joins from Eversheds Sutherland, while paralegal Alesia-Maria Iliescu begins her legal career with the firm.
Their arrival follows the appointment of Tosif Bashir as a newly qualified solicitor in September, after completing his training with Gordons.
The Leeds-headquartered firm advises clients including Wren Kitchens, Houseful and Moss, with expertise spanning commercial contracts, digital and technology, and data protection.
Andy Brian, partner and head of commercial at Gordons, said: “We’ve grown fast over the past few years, and we want to continue to do so.
“We need more people in the team to help us deliver that growth, and both Will and Alesia have made impressive starts.
“We’re also delighted that Tosif chose to stay and develop his career with us.
“We’re extremely proud of our client base and grateful for the relationships of trust which enable us to deliver strong financial performance.”
