Knight Frank expands Scottish valuations team
Knight Frank has strengthened its commercial valuations offering in Scotland with the appointment of Thomas Morton as associate.
Thomas joins from Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was associate director, bringing almost a decade of experience in commercial property valuation.
Before that, he spent seven years at JLL, progressing from graduate surveyor to associate, after starting his career in tax with KPMG.
Based in Knight Frank’s Glasgow office, Thomas will support clients across Scotland and work closely with the firm’s Aberdeen and Edinburgh teams, providing valuation expertise across offices, retail, industrial, and trading assets.
He said: “It is an exciting time to join Knight Frank, with the commercial valuations team expanding and the trading valuations offering performing especially well.
“I’m looking forward to supporting the firm’s clients in the months and years ahead, as Scotland’s commercial property market continues to go through a period of significant change.”
John Rae, head of office at Knight Frank Glasgow, added: “Thomas is a great addition to our team, bringing more experience and senior support to our existing valuations and advisory capabilities.
“He will play an important part in developing our core commercial valuations offering across Scotland and helping to further grow the team.
“Our valuations division continues to go from strength to strength, with the trading business specialism led by William Rankine a particular success in recent years.”
