Lifted Ventures’ conference set to return
An investment conference is set to return to Leeds next year.
Lifted Ventures will host the second Lifted Women Angels Conference on January 30 at Aspire, following the sold-out success of its debut in 2025.
The event celebrates and empowers women in early-stage investing while reinforcing the North’s growing role as a hub for women-led investment and innovation.
Supported by Innovate UK, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, RBC Brewin Dolphin, the British Business Bank, Gordons LLP and CO4CH, the conference aims to nurture new women angel investors and provide a platform to learn, connect and take action.
Lifted Ventures’ co-founders Jordan Dargue and Helen Oldham, who recently unveiled the Lifted Ventures 5-Point Manifesto (2025-2027), are driving a movement to activate 75 new women investors, channelling capital into female-led ventures across the UK.
Jordan said: “Increasing the capacity of women in angel investing is key to unlocking more capital for female founders.
“By supporting, educating and empowering potential women investors, we can build a more inclusive and dynamic investment landscape that benefits everyone.”
Helen added: “Our goal is to demystify angel investing and show women that they already have what it takes to become successful investors.
“The Lifted Women Angels Conference is a catalyst and a space where curiosity turns into confidence and real impact.”
Tickets for the conference are available here.
