Esh opens doors to local suppliers
A North East construction firm is inviting local subcontractors to explore new opportunities.
Bowburn-headquartered Esh Construction is hosting a Meet the Buyer event at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Thursday, November 20, from 9am to noon.
The event is designed to give subcontractors the chance to join Esh’s supply chain and learn about upcoming civil engineering projects across the Tees Valley and wider North East.
Esh is particularly seeking subcontractors specialising in groundworks, drainage, formwork reinforced concrete, paving, surfacing, lighting, signage, fencing and landscaping.
Attendees will also get to meet key members of Esh’s civil engineering team to discuss potential collaboration and upcoming schemes.
Steven Garrigan, divisional director at Esh Construction, said: “At Esh, we’re committed to building a strong, reliable local supply chain that underpins the successful delivery of our projects.
“With a number of exciting schemes in the pipeline, we’re keen to connect with subcontractors across a wide range of trades to establish long-term partnerships that are mutually beneficial – creating opportunities for local people, local businesses and the communities we work in.”
“This event is a chance to meet face-to-face, discuss upcoming opportunities, and learn more about joining our supply chain.”
Esh’s growing pipeline includes active travel and public realm projects, building on major schemes such as a £23 million urban park for Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, featuring a new land bridge and open spaces at Stockton Riverside.
The firm has also delivered Section 278 works on the A689 in Hartlepool, as well as ongoing works at Hillside Gardens in Middlesbrough and is partnering with Middlesbrough Council on the Linthorpe Road project.
Spaces for the event are limited to 60 attendees. Interested subcontractors are advised to register early here.
