SBF appoints head of restructuring
Skipton Business Finance (SBF) has appointed Katrina Nolan as head of restructuring and recoveries, further enhancing the firm’s capability in supporting businesses through financial challenges.
Katrina joins from Close Brothers, where she managed recoveries across commercial and corporate lending portfolios, and brings extensive experience in financial risk management, client relations and business recovery.
In her new role, she will oversee the day-to-day management of at-risk client portfolios, implement recovery strategies alongside senior management and support early-intervention measures.
She will also provide oversight of Asset-Based Lending (ABL) facilities and debt reviews, helping SBF strengthen its operations and deliver tailored support to clients navigating periods of financial uncertainty.
Katrina said: “I’m delighted to be joining SBF at such an exciting time for the business.
“SBF has a strong reputation for its client-focused approach and its ability to support SMEs through every stage of their journey.
“I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to help our clients achieve the best possible outcomes during times of financial pressure.”
Michelle Wilson, chief operating officer at SPF, added: “Katrina brings a depth of experience and a practical, people-centred approach to recoveries and restructuring.
“Her appointment strengthens our operational resilience and ensures we continue to support our clients responsibly and proactively when challenges arise.
“We’re delighted to welcome her to the team.”
