LK Group appoints South West director
The LK Group, a ground investigation and environmental consultancy, has strengthened its South West operations with the appointment of Simon Leat as regional director.
The firm provides specialist services in site investigation, geotechnical design, remediation and environmental consultancy across the UK.
Simon joins with more than 36 years’ experience in the sector, including ground investigation, contamination assessment, project management and client liaison.
He previously contributed to landmark projects such as the Windsor Castle Round Tower Stabilisation Project and served as a regional lecturer on soil and rock description.
In his new role, Simon will lead the continued growth of The LK Group’s South West operations, expanding the client base, managing regional delivery and supporting the firm’s national capabilities.

“The company’s growing presence in the South West demonstrates its strong technical reputation and commitment to supporting the region’s development.
“Having spent much of my career managing complex ground engineering projects and developing strong client partnerships, I’m looking forward to leading the regional team and expanding our client base across the South West.”
Simon’s appointment underlines the company’s commitment to investing in its regional presence and supporting infrastructure and development projects across the South West.
