AMA expands North East team with senior hire
Transport planning and infrastructure engineering consultancy Andrew Moseley Associates (AMA) has appointed Jonny Hocke as senior transport planner, strengthening its new Newcastle office at Haylofts.
Jonny joins from SYSTRA, where he spent nearly six years progressing from graduate to senior consultant, working on development planning projects for public and private sector clients.
His technical expertise in TEMPro, LinSig, Junctions and GIS, combined with his understanding of local transport challenges, will support AMA’s growing regional portfolio.
A Sedgefield native and Northumbria University graduate, Jonny brings strong local knowledge and a passion for the North East.
His appointment marks an important milestone in AMA’s national growth strategy, expanding its client support across the region while continuing to deliver industry-leading results for major names including Aldi, McDonald’s and national housebuilders.
Jonny said: “With my roots firmly in the region, I’m proud to be joining a growing business that’s investing locally.
“It’s exciting to be part of AMA’s expansion in Newcastle and to contribute to the transport and infrastructure projects that will help shape the area’s future.”
Andrew Moseley, managing director of AMA, added: “Jonny’s appointment represents another important step in building our team and capacity in this part of the country.
“His local knowledge, technical capability and enthusiasm for the area are a perfect fit for our plans as we continue to expand our client base and support major development projects.”
