Datactics names new head of product and marketing
London-based data solutions company Datactics has appointed Matt Flenley as head of product and marketing to lead its strategy in data readiness for major banks, police forces and public sector organisations.
Matt will oversee product vision and development across Datactics’ core areas of data quality, data matching and automation, helping customers navigate an increasingly complex data and AI landscape.
He brings more than 18 years of experience, including eight years in Datactics’ marketing function and a decade at the Bank of Ireland.
During his time at Datactics, Matt has played a key role in positioning the company for growth, supporting investor relations and securing recognition in leading analyst reports for customer satisfaction and product capability.
He said: “Data underpins every single organisation, and how we collect, process and store it is pivotal to everything society does.
“Yet despite this, too often many companies struggle to communicate the value that better data creates, leaving data management fundamentals outside core business processes.
“We believe that data quality really only matters when it drives real-world impact.
“In this new role I want to create deeper engagement with customers and the market to drive out the benefits our customers are creating through better data; to support data and business leaders in rapidly getting their data ready for meaningful business results.
“We’re building something great at Datactics, and we have such great customers who I always find universally passionate about what better data can do for them.
“This role puts me one step closer to them, helps me shape and craft what we’re to become, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Stuart Harvey, chief executive of Datactics, added: “Matt has been an instrumental part of our journey for many years now, connecting with customers and prospects, communicating our data readiness vision to the market.
“As data continues to play an instrumental role in core areas such as the evolution of artificial intelligence and boosting public sector efficiency, having Matt’s experience and creative vision deployed into leading our product direction will be a huge boost for both Datactics and our customers.”
