TaperedPlus appoints new sales director
Stockton-based TaperedPlus has appointed Will Jones as sales director as the flat roofing design specialist pursues its next phase of growth.
Will brings more than 20 years’ construction-sector experience, joining from the A. Proctor Group where he was head of business development, following senior technical and management roles during a 13-year career at Kingspan.
He will lead TaperedPlus’s new regional sales framework, assigning business development managers to specific territories to strengthen relationships with contractors, architects, distributors and system manufacturers.
A key focus will be expanding the company’s retrofit and refurbishment work, a fast-growing market driven by energy efficiency targets, building safety requirements and carbon reduction commitments.
Known for his technical credibility, Will has extensive experience supporting flat roofing specification, system partners and design teams.
He said: “I’m delighted to join TaperedPlus at such an exciting stage in its growth journey, and I look forward to helping drive growth, digital transformation and long-term value for our customers.”
Will’s appointment supports the company’s national expansion following BGF’s £5.5 million investment in 2023.
Robert Vass, chief revenue officer and co-founder of TaperedPlus, added: “Will’s appointment marks an exciting step forward.
“His combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen, along with a proven ability to design and deliver growth strategies, brings real value to the business.
“With the retrofit market creating significant opportunities, his insight and experience will be instrumental in helping TaperedPlus become a significant player in this area, while continuing to strengthen our national presence.”
