Myers & Co promotes corporate lead
Stoke-based law firm Myers & Co has promoted Jen Goodwin to director, recognising her leadership of the firm’s corporate team and her contribution since joining in 2024.
Jen moved to Myers & Co as an associate director from Jackson Lees Group, having previously served as legal manager at ICT and telecoms provider Chess.
Her promotion sees her join the firm’s board as part of the wider MAPD Group, which supports the national growth of local law practices.
At Myers & Co, Jen advises businesses on sales, mergers and acquisitions, company structures, finance, shareholder agreements and commercial contracts.
She works with clients across Staffordshire and beyond.
Jen said: “I’m delighted to be joining an ambitious and supportive board and I look forward to playing my part in the continued growth and success of Myers & Co as a director.
“We have exciting plans for the practice, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve in the next 12 months and beyond.”
Established in 2005 and employing nearly 50 staff, Myers & Co is a full-service practice offering corporate, litigation, property, employment, family and private client expertise.
Jen’s promotion strengthens the firm’s senior leadership as it continues to grow under the MAPD Group.
Tim Newsome, managing director of Myers & Co, added: “Jen has been a brilliant contributor since joining the practice, and we look forward to her input at board level and helping to continue the firm’s growth.
“She is commercially minded and ambitious but leads with kindness, which are all the qualities we look for in our senior leaders.”
