Greener Solutions Group adds eight new starters
North East–based energy efficiency specialist Greener Solutions Group has expanded its team with eight new appointments across the North as demand for retrofit services continues to rise.
In the North East, Lauren Jones has joined as finance officer, while new heating and electrical installers Stephen Phoenix, James Piper, Dan Redman and Mark Dyer strengthen the operational team.
Damien Anderson also joins as scheduling support.
Lauren, from Washington, said: “The company appealed to me because it has ambitious growth plans and will provide me with the opportunity to progress and further develop my skills.
“I report directly to directors Keian Sanchez and Andrew Wilkinson and, by working closely with them, I see how passionate they are about the business and what it can achieve.
“I’m looking forward to taking on more responsibility and having joined from a construction background, learning more about the energy side of the business really appealed to me.”
In the North West, Carmel Hutchinson has been appointed contracts manager, bringing 27 years’ construction experience, and Ricardo Mathis joins as a cavity wall technician.
Founded in 2015, Greener Solutions Group has grown from a surveying and compliance business into a national provider of renewables, heating and electrical services, and full retrofit solutions.
With a 35-strong team, the company has delivered more than 13,500 energy efficiency measures across 6000 homes and is forecasting £5 million turnover, with plans to double this within two years.
Andrew Wilkinson, director at Greener Solutions Group, added: “We warmly welcome all our new starters, who are working in various positions across the business.
“Having recently announced the formation of our senior leadership team we have strong foundations in place to enable us to grow and to fully support our new and existing colleagues.
“We have a robust recruitment process to ensure a mutually beneficial fit. As we grow, we want to ensure our team develops with us and remains on our journey. As such, we have strong progression plans that allow staff to develop their skillset and identify areas for personal growth.”
