Lemon and Lime expands South East team
Derbyshire-based home staging firm Lemon and Lime Interiors has strengthened its national presence with the appointment of two sales consultants, Cassie Parker and Karen Hawkesworth, to support clients across West Sussex, Hertfordshire and surrounding counties.
Cassie joins from the luxury beauty sector, bringing experience in visual merchandising and premium brand engagement from roles at John Lewis and Selfridges on Oxford Street.
Karen brings five years’ property industry experience, including estate agency support, new-build marketing and recent hands-on consultancy work in home staging.
Both will work with premium estate agents and vendors to deliver staging projects that help homes sell faster and at higher value.
Based in West Sussex and covering surrounding counties and South London, Cassie said: “I’ve always loved the process of creating beautiful spaces.
“Whether that be dressing a window in a store or renovating my own home, I get a real buzz out of making a space the best it can be.
“This role is a perfect opportunity to apply my design skills into this new career path through home staging.
“Everywhere you turn in this industry, you meet people who respect Lemon and Lime’s contribution to home staging and understand what an inspirational figure Elaine is in the UK property market.
“It’s a joy to be joining her team and I’m excited to learn from the very best.”
Karen added: “From starting my career in banking, I never imagined I’d end up in the property industry, let alone home staging.
“Taking potential buyers to viewings at my first estate agency job really demonstrated to me how unprepared people were to sell.
“From this point I became really interested in how properties were marketed which has now led to this an amazing opportunity to make my mark at one of the UK’s leading home staging firms.
“After a time being self-employed, it is a joy to come into such a supportive team that's all working to achieve the same goal of elevating the home staging industry.
“Sales is a side of the business that is more unfamiliar to me but I’m excited to see the impact I can make to build Lemon and Lime’s influence in my operating region.”
Their appointments follow the launch of Lemon and Lime’s new franchising network, now operating in Canterbury, Cardiff and Exeter, as the business continues to scale its home staging expertise nationwide.
Elaine Penhaul, founder and director of Lemon and Lime Interiors, added: “There’s a multitude of skills that can be pulled from other industries and applied to home staging; Cassie and Karen are proof of that.
“Having recently launched the franchising opportunity, and now hiring in key areas of growth, it’s an exciting time not just for Lemon and Lime but for the expansion of opportunities that are attracting talented people to working in home staging.
“The tides are changing and we’re looking forward to seeing where this new growth can take us with Cassie and Karen’s expertise.”
