S&W appoints new transactions director
Professional services group S&W has strengthened its transaction services value creation team, based in London, with the appointment of James Maclean as director.
James brings more than 20 years’ experience across audit, IFRS and financial services deal advisory, following senior roles at PwC and KPMG.
He specialises in banking and capital markets, fintech and asset and wealth management, advising boards on more than 100 transactions valued at over £30 billion.
His background includes secondments with major UK banks and recent work with a private bank on value creation and execution strategy.
James has also completed Oxford Saïd’s fintech programme, enhancing his expertise in the evolving financial landscape.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining S&W’s outstanding transaction services team to help build and strengthen operations in deals and value creation across financial services.
“I look forward to leveraging my unique blend of capabilities and experience to deliver significant impact to our clients.”
James’s appointment reinforces S&W’s commitment to expanding its transactions capability and guiding clients through the full deal lifecycle.
