RWO appoints new graduate engineer
Stokesley-based geoenvironmental engineering firm RWO has strengthened its geotechnical department with the appointment of Tom Johnson as a graduate geotechnical and environmental engineer.
Tom, a Keele University graduate, will support the design and preparation of geotechnical solutions for national housebuilders and developers, assisting with technical reviews, ground investigations, geohazard assessments and reporting.
He will work across both field and office settings under the guidance of senior engineers.
The appointment comes as RWO ramps up operations to meet rising demand, with the geoenvironmental department targeting £1 million in revenue next year amid increased investment and regeneration activity.
The firm plans further recruitment to support its growth.
Department head and director Chris Rudd said: “We are building an experienced and dedicated geotechnical team and Tom will be a big addition to this.
“We look forward to his contributions in continuing to elevate and expand our capabilities across the UK.”
