YFM appoints new portfolio director

Leeds-based growth investor YFM Equity Partners has strengthened its national portfolio team with the appointment of Adam Milner as portfolio director.

Adam brings extensive experience in supporting management teams through growth, transformation and performance improvement. 

He joins from UK investor Endless, where he spent six years managing a portfolio of SME growth and buyout investments, following senior industry roles and seven years at KPMG.

Adam said: “The culture of ambition and partnership at YFM was a major draw for me. 

“The firm has a strong track record of backing great businesses and building meaningful relationships with management teams, while also investing in its own people. 

“Joining at such a positive moment in YFM’s growth is genuinely exciting, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the portfolio and working closely with teams across the UK to support scale, performance and long-term value creation.”

Adam’s appointment follows several recent hires across YFM’s investment and portfolio teams, including new investment managers in London and Leeds, as the firm continues to expand its capacity to support high-growth businesses nationwide.

YFM invests between £3 million and £15 million in ambitious UK companies and manages more than £750 million across offices in London, Leeds, Manchester, Reading and Birmingham.
