Ramtech ignites growth plans with US office
A UK fire safety solutions provider has expanded overseas.
Nottingham-headquartered Ramtech has opened its first international office in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking a significant step in building a full US supply chain.
The move gives the wireless fire safety specialist a permanent base on the Atlantic coast, allowing it to provide faster access to equipment, training and technical support for contractors across the country.
Bosses say the new Charlotte office will strengthen mobilisation and reliability as Ramtech looks to grow its presence beyond the North and South East of the U.S., targeting further expansion across the South and Midwest of the country.
James Pecz, head of North America, Middle East and Global CX at Ramtech, said: “We are proud to establish a permanent presence in the US, marking an important milestone in Ramtech’s global growth.
“This launch demonstrates our commitment not only to partners and clients across the US, but also reinforces the strength of our business model, proven in the UK, and its ability to scale internationally.
“Our Charlotte office brings us closer to delivering safety solutions efficiently and reliably, supported by a full US supply chain and national service coverage.”
Ramtech has operated in the US for seven years, working with major construction firms including Turner, PCL and Barton Malow, as well as within the maritime defence sector.
Its WES wireless fire alarm system has been deployed on high-profile projects in the UK and internationally, supporting large-scale developments and protecting hundreds of workers on site.
James added: “As we continue to grow our presence in the US, this step ensures that Ramtech is not just responding to the currency of industry needs, but actively shaping the future of wireless evacuation solutions, helping protect workers and facilities at every stage of a project.”
