ITC Service celebrates Cyber Christmas with security tips and charitable giving

Hebburn-based managed service provider ITC Service celebrated the return of its annual Cyber Christmas campaign for 2025, continuing a tradition of combining festive goodwill with vital cyber security education.

Running throughout December, Cyber Christmas brings together local businesses to share practical security insights while supporting charities chosen by participating clients.

Each organisation will feature in short, engaging videos highlighting their business achievements, offering actionable cyber tips, and nominating a charity to receive a £500 donation from ITC Service, on their behalf.

The festive season is a peak period for cybercrime, with phishing scams and ransomware attacks surging around Black Friday and into the new year.

Cyber Christmas aims to counter these risks by promoting awareness and best practice, ensuring businesses and individuals stay protected during this high-risk time.

Marketing manager Connor Thomas said: “We always look forward to Cyber Christmas; it’s an excellent chance to celebrate our clients’ work, promote cyber security awareness during a critical time and support vital causes across the North East.”

Previous initiatives showcased practical measures such as multi-factor authentication, identity protection, and secure device management, reinforcing the importance of modern security standards.

This year’s campaign will also spotlight emerging trends for 2026, including AI-driven security and compliance tools, ensuring businesses are prepared for the year ahead in cyber security.

At its core Cyber Christmas is all about sharing knowledge, celebrating success, and giving back to communities and causes across the region.

Videos will be featured on ITC Service’s social platforms and dedicated campaign page, amplifying the message of resilience and community spirit.
