Metropolitan House appoints business manager
Gateshead-based office space specialist Metropolitan House has strengthened its operations with the appointment of Ellie Taylor as business manager, following a period of strong growth.
Ellie takes on responsibility for the overall management of business operations at Metropolitan House, with a focus on customer service, day-to-day operations and creating a working environment that supports both new and existing clients.
She joined the business six years ago as a trainee apprentice and has progressed into a senior operational role overseeing staff activity, facilities management, administration, events and relationships with partners and service providers.
Her appointment comes as demand for flexible, high-quality office space across the North East remains resilient, supported by evolving workplace needs and a limited supply of prime stock.
Ellie’s progression reflects Metropolitan House’s continued investment in people and service delivery as it builds on recent growth.
Metropolitan House owner Peter Conroy said: “As our tenants pursue their own commercial interests and plans, we continue to invest in homegrown talent and the skills to support their needs.
“We are rapidly building a reputation as one of the best flexi office space operators in the North East.
“This sees us committed to having the right people in place and providing them with the opportunity to develop their careers to the highest professional level.”
He added: “We have continued to achieve strong growth with high occupancy levels, offering flexible accommodation opportunities for tenants in the face of a highly competitive North East office sector.
“We continue to see significant interest from other organisations keen to invest in high-quality, easily accessible and energy efficient office space that meets the demands of modern working practices.”
