NWBLT appoints new board member
Business leadership organisation the North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT) has strengthened its board with the appointment of Andrew Finlayson.
Andrew joins the board alongside his role as UK North West regional lead at professional services firm Accenture, bringing extensive experience across digital transformation, innovation and large-scale programme delivery.
He has held senior leadership positions including programme director, experience architect and executive sponsor, working on complex initiatives focused on human-centred design across public and private sector organisations.
Andrew is also a strong advocate for social mobility and is actively involved in school outreach, NEET training programmes and research-led initiatives aimed at widening access to opportunity.
Andrew said: “I am honoured to have been appointed to the NWBLT board.
“The North West has shaped both my personal and professional journey, and I care deeply about its future.
“NWBLT plays a vital role in bringing leaders together to act for the long term good of the region, and I am excited to contribute my experience, energy and Accenture’s regional capabilities to that shared purpose.”
Andrew’s appointment supports NWBLT’s ongoing work to champion economic growth, inclusive leadership and collaboration across the North West business community.
