Trinity Chambers appoints chief executive
Newcastle-headquartered barristers’ chambers Trinity Chambers has appointed Tom Prideaux as its new chief executive, following the departure of former chief executive Tim Harris earlier this month.
Tom joins Trinity Chambers from senior roles at PwC and the British Army, bringing extensive experience in strategic leadership, organisational development, and large-scale transformation across the public and private sectors.
As a member of Trinity’s executive board, he will be responsible for leading the chambers’ strategic direction, corporate governance, and operational delivery.
Tom said: “I am delighted to be joining a talented and ambitious team at Trinity Chambers and to carry on Tim's work.
“I look forward to bringing my experience to bear to enable continued growth and development whilst protecting our reputation for quality and trust.”
Tom’s appointment comes during a period of continued growth for Trinity Chambers, which now has more than 100 practising members across its chambers in Newcastle, Leeds and Middlesbrough.
The organisation has also recently welcomed a new cohort of pupils, expanded its fees clerking team, and is investing in the refurbishment of its Custom House headquarters on Newcastle’s Quayside.
Richard Stubbs, deputy head of Trinity Chambers, added: “We warmly welcome Tom to Chambers in his role as chief executive and are looking forward to working with him.
“Through his previous roles with PwC and the Army, Tom brings a great depth of skills, knowledge and experience which fill us with confidence that he will make a real success as Chambers’ chief executive.
“His appointment follows an extensive recruitment process in which Tom was the preferred candidate of several outstanding applicants and reflects Trinity’s recent growth and incorporation as we continue to adapt and improve in order to meet the current and future demands of our growing number of clients.”
