Maguire Family Law appoints Manchester lead

Manchester and Cheshire-based family law firm Maguire Family Law has strengthened its city centre presence with the appointment of Jennifer Hudec to lead its Manchester office.

Jennifer joins the firm as a senior associate and brings family law experience dating back to 2017.

She specialises in high-net-worth financial matters, including cases involving trusts, foreign property, companies and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

In her new role, she will also advise clients on cohabitation disputes and children matters, including internal and external relocation, alongside supporting cases through both contested proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.

Previously working at a tier one Legal 500 firm, Jennifer is a CILEx litigator in family law and is accredited in complex matrimonial finances and children law.

Jennifer said: “I’m proud to be joining a team with a reputation for handling complex cases with empathy, professionalism and expertise.

“It’s an exciting time to join the firm and I look forward to leading the team in Manchester while supporting clients as they navigate the legal landscape.

“I’m also committed to helping colleagues broaden their experience and contributing to Maguire Family Law’s ongoing success.”

Founded in 2010, Maguire Family Law focuses on high-net-worth, international and child abduction cases and operates from offices across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

James Maguire, managing director of Maguire Family Law, added: “We’re pleased to be starting the year on a high with the appointment of Jennifer, who is an excellent addition to our team.

“She has already proven herself to be diligent, detail-oriented and dedicated to providing the highest level of service and delivering the best possible outcomes for clients.

“We’re confident that she will play a key role in the firm’s continued growth throughout 2026 and beyond.”
