HBD promotes senior surveyor
Sheffield-headquartered property developer HBD, part of Henry Boot, has promoted Georgina Ronksley to senior management surveyor.
Georgina joined the firm in 2017 as a property assistant, completing an apprenticeship before qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2022.
Her promotion reflects her progression within the company and her contribution to the management of its national investment portfolio.
In her role, Georgina is responsible for overseeing properties occupied by Henry Boot, managing lease negotiations, service charge reconciliations, acquisitions and disposals, and reporting on property performance.
Alongside her professional responsibilities, Georgina also supports skills development across the region as an ambassador and steering group member for the Yorkshire and Humber Apprentice Ambassador Network.
Hamer Boot, executive director at HBD, said: “Georgina’s promotion reflects both her technical ability and her commitment to HBD since joining the business.
“She brings strong commercial insight, coupled with a proactive and professional approach, and plays a key role in the effective management of our national investment portfolio.”
HBD operates from six UK offices and delivers industrial, logistics, urban development and residential projects nationwide.
