Sydney Mitchell builds conveyancing team

Birmingham-based law firm Sydney Mitchell has strengthened its residential conveyancing team with the appointment of experienced conveyancer Oliver Begley, as it prepares for increased activity in the West Midlands housing market.

Oliver joins the firm’s residential conveyancing team, led by partner Adam Oleskow, bringing more than 16 years’ experience in residential property matters. 

A Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) legal executive, he joins from Warwickshire law firm Ward & Rider Solicitors, where he spent almost 17 years based in the firm’s Coventry office.

Oliver said: “The most enjoyable part of being a conveyancer is guiding clients through the conveyancing process and being proactive so that transactions run smoothly, and clients feel the legalities are completed as quickly and pain free as possible.

Oliver’s arrival takes Sydney Mitchell’s residential conveyancing team to seven, supporting growing demand for services across sales and purchases, remortgaging, equity release, freehold purchases and lease extensions.
