Distribution firm 'in gear for growth' with tech move
A distribution firm says it is primed to drive forward with a multi-million-pound technology investment.
Kinaxia Logistics has added new software to operations.
Bosses say the move will “set new standards for efficiency, transparency and care” at the Greater Manchester-headquartered company.
The investment includes Qargo transport management software, which officials say will provide real-time freight tracking services.
It also covers Samsara’s Connected Operations platform, which will monitor traffic flow, fuel efficiency and issue real-time weather alerts.
Gareth Jenkins, executive chair at Manchester-based Kinaxia Logistics, which serves the retail, leisure, food and drink and manufacturing sectors nationally, said: “This represents a bold step forward.
“By working with Qargo and Samsara, we are embracing innovation that will set a new benchmark for customer experience, safety, sustainability and operational efficiency.
Adriaan Coppens, co-founder and chief executive at Qargo, said: “Kinaxia’s ambition, combined with Samsara’s telematics excellence and Qargo’s intelligent transport management platform, creates the foundation for more efficient and sustainable operations.”
John Mills, regional sales director at Samsara, added: “By leveraging our platform, Kinaxia is empowering its teams with real-time data analytics to deliver a new level of efficiency and service to customers.”
