Power firm aims to charge on after 'landmark' year
An engineering firm has hailed its growth potential after a “landmark” year.
Dale Power Solutions says opportunities across the battery energy storage and data centre markets leave it primed to expand.
The upbeat outlook comes after the Scarborough-based business chalked up a 20 per cent-plus turnover increase – which secured a fourth consecutive year of growth.
It also follows a deal for Aberdeen’s Calibre Power Electronics, which strengthened the uninterruptible power supplies, back-up diesel generator and battery energy storage system firm’s presence in Scotland.
Gavin Hepburn, chief executive at Dale Power Solutions, which last year celebrated its 90th anniversary, said: “2025 has been a defining year of growth, transformation and purpose.
“The battery energy storage market is one of the fastest growing in Europe and, coupled with an ongoing focus on energy reliability and the continued expansion of data centres, creates significant opportunities for our business through 2026.
“We’re excited to continue scaling our capabilities, investing in sustainable innovation and strengthening our ties across the UK through the year ahead.”
