Flexitallic bolts on new INTEGRA division
An industrial engineering firm is strengthening its service offering with the launch of a new division designed to deliver fully integrated maintenance and asset integrity support.
Flexitallic has launched INTEGRA Technologies UK at its Ellesmere Port facility in Cheshire, creating a dedicated operational base backed by a £750,000 investment in specialist tooling and the recruitment of a dedicated engineering team, as part of a strategic move to become a complete end-to-end joint integrity provider.
Bosses say the new division brings together the group’s sealing design and manufacturing expertise with on-site engineering services, creating a single, joined-up solution for complex industrial assets.
The launch integrates Flexitallic’s cloud-based joint management platform, Flexlogics®, which provides full joint traceability by combining calculations, training, asset management and workflows, alongside field-based inspection, testing and maintenance services.
This approach is designed to reduce risk, improve reliability and extend the operational life of critical joints.
Backed by more than 30 years of bolted joint integrity experience in North America, INTEGRA Technologies UK will support sectors including oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, hydrogen, nuclear, aviation and aerospace.
Services initially include joint inspection, integrity management, bolt tensioning and torquing, with flange facing and pipe cutting to follow.
Chuck Overby, president of INTEGRA Technologies, said: “Bringing 30 years of experience into this new site strengthens our ability to deliver best-in-class flange inspection and joint management services.
“Being closer to our customers means better turnaround times and greater peace of mind on critical operations.”
