Spa and wellness retreat secures new owner
A spa and wellness business has a new owner.
Truffle Lodge, in Fishlake, near Doncaster, has been sold as a going concern.
The venture had been on the market for £1.3 million since the summer, with its sale supported by commercial property estate agent Ernest Wilson.
Opened in 2015 by Pam Webb, the venue includes treatment rooms, a swimming pool, a games room, bar lounge and a five-bedroom detached house with gardens.
Pam said: “After ten very busy and fulfilling years, I decided the time was right to spend more time with family.
“Truffle Lodge was my pride and joy, and it has been an honour to work with the dedicated team to build a business that guests come back to time and time again.”
Mark Czajka, a director at Ernest Wilson, added: “We are really pleased to have completed the sale of Truffle Lodge.
“There was plenty of interest from potential buyers, and we are definitely seeing a trend for increased demand for lifestyle businesses from investors and owner-operators.”
