Transport firm 'in gear for growth' with fleet additions
A transport and warehousing firm says it is set to drive ahead following a £2 million fleet investment.
AMCO has bought 12 trucks.
Bosses at the Redditch-based operator say the Mercedes Actros vehicles leave it primed to bolster its customer base.
They add the investment means the business – which works with high street names and automotive brands – now boasts a fleet of 73 vehicles and 95 trailers.
Mark Jones, fleet director at AMCO, which runs the 120,000sq ft AMCO Park customs-bonded warehouse, said: “As business grows and compliance becomes increasingly rigorous, a modern fleet is essential to serve customers and keep our drivers safe and comfortable.
“Our trucks were specifically designed for our drivers, who work around the clock on partner contracts.”
The vehicles were bought from Midland Truck & Van.
