Michelman Robinson appoints London head
International law firm Michelman Robinson has named Daniel Burbeary as office managing partner of its London office to support the firm’s continued global expansion.
Daniel was the firm’s first solicitor hire in the UK and its first London-based partner, playing a key role in establishing and integrating the office into the wider international business.
Admitted in England and Wales, he specialises in cross-border litigation and international arbitration, with a focus on complex fraud and asset recovery matters across multiple jurisdictions.
In his new role, he will lead the growth of the London office, strengthen collaboration with the firm’s US and international teams and oversee the continued development of its disputes and corporate crime capabilities in the capital.
Daniel said: “I’m honoured to take on this role at such an exciting time for the firm.
“We’ve built a strong foundation in London, and I look forward to continuing to grow the platform while deepening our integration across offices and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.”
Sanford Michelman, Michelman Robinson’s chairman and co-founding partner, added: “Dan has been instrumental in establishing our London presence and shaping the office into a key part of the firm’s international platform.
“His leadership, global perspective, and deep experience in complex cross-border matters make him exceptionally well suited to lead the office through its continued pattern of growth.”
