Metro Bank promotes corporate leader
High street lender Metro Bank has promoted Simon Neale within its large corporate banking team to support the expansion of its corporate client base.
Simon will report to director of corporate banking Cormac Burns and lead a sector-focused team targeting larger corporate customers.
He has been with Metro Bank for more than 12 years, holding senior roles in structured finance and most recently serving as head of commercial intermediaries.
His 28-year banking career also includes senior leadership positions at NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

“I’m looking forward to leading an incredible team dedicated to driving innovation and delivering exceptional relationship banking to our clients.”
Metro Bank supports owner-managed and sponsor-backed businesses with services including refinancing, acquisitions and working capital.
Simon’s promotion forms part of a wider expansion of its corporate banking capability across the UK.
