Leeds tech duo merge to accelerate delivery

A Leeds-based software development business is aiming to shake up traditional delivery models after merging with an AI-native specialist.

Vensis and Decodifi have joined forces in a deal designed to combine deep industry expertise with artificial intelligence-led development.

The move brings together Vensis’ established client base with Decodifi’s AI-first framework, which is designed to accelerate software build times and reduce labour-intensive processes.

Decodifi has evolved from low-code origins into a specialist AI-focused developer, using proprietary tools to cut development cycles by up to 80 per cent.

Its system enables full-stack developers to deliver fully coded, scalable products significantly faster than traditional methods.

Recent projects have included building a minimum viable product for health-tech start-up Life Dash and delivering digital transformation for logistics provider TFS Express.

Bosses say the merger will offer faster delivery, broader technical capability and improved scalability for organisations across the UK and beyond.

Ben Geldeard, managing director of Vensis, said: “We’re bringing together two talented teams of developers to build better software, faster.

“Vensis has a strong track record in complex, data-driven systems, and with Decodifi’s AI expertise, we can deliver even more value, faster, for our clients.

“But it’s important to recognise that speed never comes at the expense of architectural integrity, from initial prototypes to enterprise-grade systems.

“We are excited to work with businesses that need to upgrade legacy, fragmented, or often Excel-based systems that are holding them back.

“With Decodifi on board we are able to combine our deep technical knowledge and modernise systems quickly to help drive business growth and ensure organisations remain reliable and are not held-back by operational lag.”

Charlie Bartle, chief executive of Decodifi, added: “This merger is more than a strategic move; it’s a disruption of the traditional development landscape.

“Having already seen significant success with the projects our team has delivered using this framework, we have proven that our AI-first approach can outperform legacy cycles by fivefold.

“By joining forces with Vensis, we are doubling down on that bold vision and will combine raw innovation with enterprise scale to fundamentally break the slow, costly norms of the software industry.

“This is a new standard of delivery that the market can no longer ignore.”

Vensis’ existing client base includes McCain Foods, OneSubsea, Serco, Kent County Council and Cranswick Country Foods, providing a platform for further growth as demand for AI-enabled solutions increases.
