Blacks Solicitors announces 18 promotions
Leeds law firm Blacks Solicitors has promoted 18 members of staff across seven departments following a record year of growth.
The promotions span teams including residential property, real estate, employment, family, banking, commercial dispute resolution and real estate litigation.
Jennifer Gillespie, in real estate, and James Martin, in commercial dispute resolution, have been promoted to legal director.
Faye Parkinson has been named senior associate conveyancer, while Anna Schiavetta, Lucy Storey and Josie Kirk have been promoted to senior associate solicitors.
A further group of team members have stepped into associate roles across residential property, banking, real estate, employment and real estate litigation.
The promotions come after the firm recorded £22 million turnover and reflect its continued investment in developing talent across the business.
Tom Moyes, partner at Blacks Solicitors, said: “Our focus remains on developing our staff, enhancing client care, and expanding our service offerings to meet the evolving demands of our clientele.
“These recent promotions reflect our commitment to recognising and rewarding talent while creating clear and meaningful career pathways.
“As we look forward to our big office move this summer, our people-first approach will remain a priority for Blacks.”
