McCormicks expands team with two hires
Harrogate-based law firm McCormicks Solicitors has appointed Aisling McAuley and Aliyah Ricketts to its employment and commercial litigation teams.
Aisling joins as a solicitor apprentice, supporting employment partner Iain Jenkins.
She brings experience across employment, personal injury and dispute resolution, and is currently studying for her law degree.
Iain said: “Aisling has been a great signing and has already shown a great feel for and affinity with employment law and the needs of our clients.
“She has a bright future.”
Meanwhile, Aliyah has been appointed paralegal in the commercial litigation team, working with partner David Birks.
She previously worked at an international law firm in Manchester, gaining experience in antitrust and competition matters.
David added: “Aliyah brings extensive experience and a strong skillset to the firm.
“Her appointment is a significant addition to the team, and there is every confidence that she will prove to be an invaluable member of the team while helping us continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients.”
Their appointments strengthen McCormicks’ legal teams as the firm continues to build its expertise across key practice areas.
