Muckle LLP welcomes newly qualified solicitor
Newcastle-based law firm Muckle LLP has appointed Anna Glover as a newly qualified solicitor in its sports, education and charities team.
Anna joined the firm in 2022 as a paralegal before moving into the team in 2023 and qualifying via the SQE route.
She studied English literature at the University of Edinburgh before completing a law conversion at Northumbria University, and previously worked at a boutique family law firm.
Her qualification strengthens Muckle LLP’s specialist team as it continues to support clients across the sports, education and charities sectors.
Anna said: “I’m over the moon to qualify into the sports, education and charities team. I studied for the SQE alongside working full-time, so it’s very satisfying to have that hard work pay off and to reach this milestone.
“I love the problem-solving element and getting to work with such interesting people.
“I’m excited to work with a broad range of clients across all three sectors, as well as developing my knowledge on the education side, including working on tribunal claims and helping schools with people-related queries.
“I’ve always felt Muckle was a great fit for me. I really like how it’s a local firm with national reach, and having three offices in the North East helps create a close-knit environment.
“I’m also part of the choir and netball team at Muckle, so it’s a great opportunity to meet people from different teams and departments.”
Joanne Davison, partner and head of sport, education and charities at Muckle, added: “We're really delighted that Anna has qualified into the team.
“Anna has done a fantastic job juggling the demands of a full-time job alongside her studies.
“Anna has built a diverse skillset through her experience as a paralegal and this, alongside her passion for helping people, will see her develop strong relationships with our clients.
“We’re excited to see her grow here at Muckle.”
