Vygon UK appoints general manager

Medical device manufacturer Vygon UK has appointed Dale Keegan as general manager.

Dale, who joined the Swindon-based business in 2016, steps up from chief financial officer after helping deliver a record turnover year in 2024.

He brings a decade of experience with the company, working across finance, operations and commercial functions during a period of sustained growth.

In his new role, Dale will lead the strategic and operational direction of the UK business, overseeing performance, growth opportunities and its 100-strong team.

He said: “Having been part of the Vygon UK family for many years, it’s a real privilege to take on this challenge.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to pursue our mission: to help clinicians deliver the best possible outcomes for their patients through our complete portfolio and comprehensive expertise.

“There is a growing need for innovative and high-quality medical devices, and we’ve made some fantastic progress breaking into new markets recently. 

“For instance, our haemodynamic monitoring device Mostcare Up was recognised as a finalist in two categories in the 2026 HSJ Partnership Awards.

“I’m also looking forward to taking the team on this growth journey, because the collective effort of our people working together for the greater good is something I’m particularly proud of.”

Dale succeeds Les Davies, who led Vygon UK for more than 20 years and will now take on a role within the Vygon Group, overseeing the development of its principal international markets.

Les added: “After more than two decades leading Vygon UK, I’m delighted to pass the reins to Dale. 

“He knows the business inside out and has played a key role in its success in recent years. 

“His leadership style, understanding of the healthcare environment and commitment to both our people and customers make him the right person to guide the UK business into its next chapter.”
