Law firm marks milestone with office expansion
A law firm has marked its 40th anniversary with an office expansion.
TMJ Legal Services has switched to a larger base in Peterlee, East Durham.
The company says the move – from a Yoden Way site to the town’s Burnhope Way – will help it “build for the future, support local people and create jobs and opportunities”.
Its new base has been named Turner House in honour of founder Catherine Turner, who established the business in 1986 and remains part of its team.
It is set to be followed by refurbishment work at the firm’s sister offices in Hartlepool and Wingate, near Peterlee.
Director Clair Dunkerley, who manages the firm alongside Chris Parker and Catherine Donworth, said: “This is an exciting step forward.
“As we have continued to grow, it has become clear we need a larger space to support staff, welcome clients comfortably and continue delivering a high standard of legal services and training.
“Turner House gives us that opportunity while allowing us to recognise the legacy of our founder.”
