Bellway North East appoints commercial director
Bellway North East has appointed Jordan Harris as commercial director to support delivery across the region.
Based at the division’s Gateshead headquarters, Jordan joins the board overseeing developments across Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham.
He brings experience from roles at Keepmoat and Gleeson Homes, where he most recently served as commercial director.
In his new role, Jordan will oversee budgeting, procurement and strategy across developments from land acquisition through to completion.
He said: “I’ve always had a passion for housing in the sense of wanting to create a community and that excites me.
“It goes from a piece of land to a community with someone pushing a pram along the street.
“A lot of hours go into it and it’s rewarding to know that we have played a strong part in it.
“You can drive past in 10 years’ time and say, ‘I was involved in that’.”
