OBI appoints senior leasing hire
Real estate consultancy OBI has appointed Josh Hancock to its transactions and asset management team.
Josh joins after 13 years at Bruntwood SciTech, where he was head of commercial for its Manchester city centre portfolio.
He brings experience across major refurbishment and leasing projects and has worked closely with OBI on schemes in the city for more than a decade.
In his new role, he will support high-profile developments across Manchester, including Republic at Mayfield, Eden and Rylands.
Josh said: “What attracts me to OBI at this stage in my career, is the opportunity to join a well-established market-leading consultancy that has an impressive portfolio of instructions in Manchester.
“Having followed OBI’s growth closely and given that I’ve worked with the team on the majority of the Bruntwood portfolio, I know I’m joining a successful, fast paced, and dynamic business.
“OBI’s involvement in both landmark new builds and high-end refurbishments is a major draw for me, and I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the business.”
Andrew Cowell, OBI’s transactions and asset management lead, added: “Over the past five years we have leased in excess of 2.1 million sq ft making OBI Manchester’s most active leasing consultant.
“Josh’s experience and expertise in the Manchester market will undoubtedly support this growth and ensure we continue to provide our clients with a premium service.”
