Takeover equals growth for accountancy firm
A professional services firm has expanded with a takeover.
Pierce Business Advisory & Accountancy Group has bought Anthony Marshall Ltd.
Officials say the move for the Bury-based operator marks “another important step” in Blackburn-based Pierce’s North West growth story.
Under the terms of the deal, the firm’s existing team and offices will remain in place.
Jimmy King, Pierce chief executive, said: “Anthony Marshall Ltd is a practice with an excellent reputation, built on trust, community connection and genuine care for its clients.
“Those values mirror our own, and this acquisition is very much about people – supporting staff, protecting client relationships and continuing to deliver outstanding service.
“We are delighted to welcome Anthony and his team.”
Anthony added: “I am incredibly proud of what we have built and the relationships we have formed with our clients.
“Joining Pierce allows us to preserve that personal, community-focused approach while giving our clients and team access to broader expertise and opportunities.”
Pierce has further offices in Bolton and Manchester.
