Consultancy engineers jobs drive to boost growth
An engineering, environmental and planning consultancy is creating jobs to meet rising demand.
Caulmert wants staff across a number of departments to build on an “eye-catching start to the year”.
The North Wales-headquartered operator is recruiting an associate director, senior technician and technician for its civil engineering team, and further engineers across its geotechnical team.
Additional roles at the business – which runs offices in Bangor, St Asaph, Altrincham, Chatham and Nottingham – include a principal hydrologist, a principal structural engineer and a principal planner.
Bosses say the jobs drive will boost the 50-strong staff firm’s ambitions to double turnover to more than £8 million in the next five years.
Mike Caulfield, founder and managing director of the business, whose clients include Morgan Sindall and Kier Construction, said: “A very busy end to 2025 and an eye-catching start to this year means we have a strong pipeline of work.
“There are a number of experienced roles available for the right people to come in and hit the ground running.
“Having enjoyed a positive January and February, we are relishing the opportunities that lie ahead during the remainder of the year.”
The business’ client list also includes Eric Wright Water, Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK, Adra and Essex County Council.
