Bradley Hall appoints auctions managing director
National property group Bradley Hall has appointed Helen Wall as managing director of its UK-wide auctions business.
Helen launched Bradley Hall Auctions in April 2025 following a six-figure investment in technology and team, establishing the service across the firm’s national office network.
In her new role, she will lead the continued growth of the auctions division, supporting clients across multiple property sectors with a streamlined route to market.
Helen said: “This is a really exciting time for the UK property auction market, with nearly 29,000 sales and £5.9 billion raised in 2025 alone.
“Digital and livestream auctions are driving this growth, offering investors speed, transparency, and nationwide reach.
“Auctions are becoming a mainstream, efficient route to market, particularly for commercial and land assets, connecting the right buyers and sellers quickly and reliably.
“Since launching our Auctions business last April, we have seen a significant increase in demand from buyers and sellers looking to acquire or dispose of commercial, residential and land developments across the country.
“With completion possible in just 56 days, it’s an ideal way for commercially minded investors to sell and acquire property efficiently.
“As well as supporting clients directly, we partner with other property agencies from across the country providing expert support from our auctions team and access to our established digital platforms, reaching millions of organic views per month from across the UK.
“This enables other agents to sell or acquire auction properties to a national audience without incurring the additional operational costs required to set up their own auctions department.
“With over 40 Bradley Hall chartered surveyors and valuers, 100 team members across the country as well at the largest team of its kind in the North East, we have a fantastic opportunity to continue growing this department.
“I am proud to be leading such driven and ambitious team as we continue to expand our auctions business across the UK.”
Richard Rafique, group managing director, added: "Helen has played a pivotal role in launching and establishing and expanding our auctions business.
“As this area of the business continues to grow, her market expertise, leadership, and dedication to client service make her the ideal person to lead the division forward.
“Our digital auctions platform allows Bradley Hall to respond to evolving market demands, offering flexibility, speed, and certainty for both buyers and sellers.
“This approach is becoming increasingly popular investors, developers, and vendors seeking efficient transactions and competitive pricing within defined timeframes.
“Helen’s promotion to managing director reflects the success of the auctions division and Bradley Hall’s ongoing commitment to investing in its people and services.
“With national growth planned throughout 2026, we continue to strengthen our UK-wide presence across commercial agency, estate agency, building surveying, property management, residential lettings, auctions, land and development, asset management, and block and estate management.”
