Eversheds Sutherland announces partner promotions
Leeds-based law firm Eversheds Sutherland has promoted Thomas Howell and Griff Jones to partner as part of its 2026 promotions round.
The duo, both from the firm’s corporate team, are among 25 lawyers promoted to partner across the international business, with the appointments taking effect from May 1.
The latest promotions see 40 per cent of the new partner cohort made up of women.
Based in the firm’s Leeds office, Thomas and Griff’s promotions highlight Eversheds Sutherland’s continued investment in its UK regional practices and strengthening of its corporate offering.
Keith Froud, chief executive of Eversheds Sutherland, said: “Our newly promoted partners exemplify exceptional talent, deep client commitment and market-leading capability.
“Together, they reinforce our position as a firm that is powerful globally, strong locally, delivering seamless support to clients wherever they operate.
“My congratulations go to our 2026 cohort on this well-earned achievement for their outstanding contribution to our clients and our firm.”
