Fulcrum Group appoints HV director
Sheffield-based multi-utility infrastructure and services provider firm Fulcrum Group has appointed David Tong as director of high voltage to strengthen capability across its specialist businesses.
David brings more than 35 years’ experience in infrastructure, including 17 years in the power sector, with senior roles at Morrison Utility Services, Morgan Sindall and Amey.
In his new role, he will work across Dunamis and Maintech Power, supporting development and enhancing collaboration between the two divisions.
David said: “Fulcrum Group has created a powerful combination of specialist capabilities through Dunamis and Maintech Power, and I’m excited to support the next phase of that journey.
“By building on the strong collaboration already in place, we can unlock new opportunities for growth and further enhance the group’s end-to-end high voltage offering.
“This joined-up approach enables us to deliver a seamless experience for clients, from initial concept through to long-term operation and maintenance.”
David’s appointment reflects Fulcrum Group’s focus on expanding its high voltage offering and driving growth across its national operations.
Tom Overfield, group managing director, added: “David’s appointment is a significant addition to Fulcrum Group as we continue to strengthen our high voltage capability.
“His leadership and technical expertise will support the ongoing growth of Dunamis and Maintech Power, while further enhancing the collaboration between our specialist businesses.
“This joined-up approach enables us to deliver a seamless, end-to-end service for clients and positions the Group to capitalise on new opportunities across the evolving energy infrastructure market.”
