HURST appoints trainee cohort
Stockport-headquartered accountancy and business advisory firm HURST has appointed Mia Aspinall, Charlie Kay, Callum Livingston, James Pennington and Toby Parker to its 2026 trainee intake.
The five join across the business services and tax teams, having been selected from more than 200 applicants as the firm continues to invest in emerging talent.
Mia, Charlie, Callum and James join the business services team, supporting audit, compliance and advisory work, while Toby joins the tax team.
They bring a mix of academic achievement and early career experience across finance, business and international placements.
Their appointments support HURST’s growth ambitions as it expands its client base and service offering, following its recent integration into the Dains Group.
Anthony Woodings, the HURST partner responsible for trainee recruitment, said: “Our first trainee intake of 2026 brings together individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and achievements.
“They will play an important role in supporting our continued growth while working towards their professional qualifications.”
