Burnetts appoints equity partners

Newcastle-based law firm Burnetts Solicitors has promoted Jennifer Bell and Mike Nicholls to equity partner.

Jennifer, a corporate partner, advises private companies and management teams on a range of commercial matters, while Mike, co-head of agri and estates, specialises in tax and estate planning within private client and property law.

Both play key roles in the firm’s wealth and succession planning offering and will now become part owners of the business.

Jennifer said: “Becoming an equity partner at Burnetts is something I’m extremely proud of. 

“The firm places a real emphasis on teamwork and delivering practical, commercially focused advice, and I’m looking forward to working alongside colleagues to continue delivering the best outcomes for our clients.”

Mike added: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as an equity partner at Burnetts and to be part of a firm with such a strong, values‑based culture. 

“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s growth and continuing to provide high‑quality, trusted advice to our clients.”

The promotions strengthen Burnetts’ leadership team as it continues to grow its services across the North of England.
