Finance For Enterprise appoints lending manager
Doncaster-based business finance provider Finance For Enterprise (FFE) has appointed Steven Brown as senior business lending manager to support SMEs across the UK.
Steven brings more than 26 years’ banking experience, including two decades working with small and medium-sized businesses.
He has held roles as relationship manager and business development manager, as well as leading commercial finance teams.
Most recently, he ran his own FCA-authorised commercial finance brokerage, supporting businesses with tailored funding solutions.
In his new role, Steven will focus on arranging commercial lending facilities for underserved SMEs, helping to bridge funding gaps.
He said: “I was looking for something new in the commercial lending space but didn’t want to return to a mainstream high street bank.
“I already knew several members of the FFE team from previous roles, and they spoke highly of the organisation.
“What really attracted me was FFE’s ability to offer SME lending through a process that retains the human touch, rather than relying solely on algorithm-based decisions.”
Steven’s appointment strengthens Finance For Enterprise’s commitment to supporting business growth through accessible finance.
Andrew Austwick, managing director at Finance For Enterprise, added: “We are delighted to welcome Steven to the team.
“His extensive experience in SME banking and commercial finance, combined with his deep understanding of the challenges businesses face when accessing funding, makes him an excellent fit for FFE.
“Steven shares our commitment to delivering a personal, relationship-led service, and we are confident he will play a key role in supporting more SMEs to access the finance they need to grow.”
