Gateley Legal appoints real estate partner

Birmingham-based law firm Gateley Legal has appointed Daniel Walsh as partner within its real estate team.

Daniel brings 20 years’ experience, having held senior roles at CMS, Eversheds Sutherland and Gowling WLG. 

He has advised developers, investors and funds on complex development and investment transactions, with a focus on logistics and urban regeneration schemes.

In his new role, he will support the firm’s commercial development offering, working alongside its established Birmingham team.

Daniel said: “It’s great to have joined such an established development team, particularly one which has a strong track record of supporting logistics developer clients, which is an important part of my practice.

“I have spent the majority of my career in Birmingham and I’m keen to continue to add to my experience of dealing with large-scale development projects in the region. 

“Having met the team, I’m confident that Gateley provides a strong platform and it’s great to be joining the business at such an exciting time.”
