PWA Planning appoints Manchester director
North West consultancy PWA Planning has appointed Paul Forshaw as director to lead its Manchester office.
Paul joins from DLP Planning and brings almost 20 years’ experience across residential, commercial and strategic land projects, with previous roles at Turley, Peel Land and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
In his new role, he will head up the firm’s Manchester base, supporting its growth in the region.
Paul said: “PWA is a growing planning consultancy with strong ambition to continue expanding its work with clients across the UK and its specialist sectors are very aligned with my own experience.
“The opportunity to lead the firm’s Manchester office and be a part of that growth journey was a compelling one and I’m delighted to be part of the team.”
Paul’s appointment reflects PWA Planning’s continued expansion following the launch of its Manchester office in 2025.
Paul Walton, managing director of PWA Planning, added: “We’ve witnessed solid growth in our Manchester office over the last 12-months and felt now was the right time to take this to the next level and bring in someone highly experienced to lead the next phase of growth in the region.
“Paul offers us significant additional capabilities and sector knowledge and will play an instrumental role in growing our team and client base in the region.”
