Waracle expands with Inov8 Consulting deal
A digital product consultancy has expanded with a takeover.
Waracle has bought Inov8 Consulting.
Bosses say its swoop for the Edinburgh-based cloud and data services firm strengthens plans to increase revenues across its data and artificial intelligence practice.
They add the deal will support longer term plans to expand Dundee-headquartered Waracle’s workforce from nearly 300 to 500 across the UK and Bulgaria.
Operating from further sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Sofia, Waracle works with clients across the financial services, energy, health and public sectors.
Founded in 2011, 28-staff Inov8 Consulting provides artificial intelligence and cloud and data services support.
David Tuck, Waracle chief executive, said: “We worked really hard to find a data and artificial intelligence consultancy that matched our ambitions, values and culture.
“We have focused on growing our data and artificial intelligence practice since early 2025, and the talent within Inov8 will help us further our ambitions.”
Brian Graham, Inov8 Consulting founder and chief executive, added: “Joining forces at this moment will provide a great opportunity to be part of Waracle’s continued growth.”
