Turtle Enviro marks decade of growth

A County Durham drainage manufacturer is celebrating ten years of growth and product innovation after expanding its operations and building a nationwide customer base.

Turtle Enviro marked its tenth anniversary at the end of April, reflecting on a decade supplying drainage, water management and environmental solutions to the civils, construction and commercial sectors.

Founded in 2016, the business has steadily expanded its product range in response to changing industry demands, developing systems designed to improve performance and simplify installation on site.

A key milestone came in 2022 when the business relocated to larger headquarters at Bowes Business Park in County Durham.

That same year, Turtle launched Gulliblok, a silt protection system for road gullies that has since become widely used by major UK housebuilders.

The product forms part of the company’s BLOK silt management range, alongside several other drainage and environmental systems.

Turtle continued its expansion in 2023 with a company rebrand, a new website and further product development across its Accesso inspection chamber range.

The company has also increased its operational capacity in recent years, expanding its team and launching additional flow control chamber products.

Damone Armstrong, managing director of Turtles, said: “As we celebrate this incredible milestone, our focus remains firmly on the future.

“We are committed to continuing our innovation and expanding our product portfolio.

“It is essential that we collaborate with our customers and listen to their feedback.

“With their support, we can and will develop new, practical, cost-effective, high-quality solutions that they can depend on for years to come.”
